The Salt Lake County Clerk's Office utilizes volunteers as poll workers during local and federal elections. The Elections Division will be recruiting over 2,000 poll workers to staff over 700 voting precincts. Election judges receive a stipend for their services. The Elections Division will also be recruiting alternates to fill any vacancies that may arise.
Polls open at 7:00 am and close at 8:00 pm. Poll workers need to be at the polling location by 6:00 am, and will need to stay after the polls close at 8:00 pm until all of the election paperwork is complete. Poll workers are required to attend a training session. For further information, please call (801) 468-3477.
