Schedule Poll Worker Training

Poll Worker Classroom Registration and Online Training
Poll Worker Titles and Duties:
- Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Poll workers are required to arrive at the polls at 6:00 am to set-up

It is necessary for all poll workers to attend a 2-hour classroom training prior to each election

Poll Manager ($220 Stipend)
- Pick-up and drop off supplies
- Oversee polling place set-up
- Greet and direct voters
- Assist voters as needed
- Assist provisional voters
- Reconcile Election Day activity
- Transport memory cards to drop-off location
- Must have access to a vehicle and be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs
Touch Screen Technician (TST)/Coordinator ($220 Stipend)
- Oversees voting equipment set-up
- Troubleshoots and provides instructions
- Monitors and maintains machines as needed
- Assist voter with touch screens as necessary
- Reconciles Election Day activity
- Assist processing voters
- Assist provisional voters
Table Judge: Receiving and Poll Book ($120 Stipend)
- Look up voter's name
- Verify voter identification
- Collect signatures in official register
- Record all voters in poll book
- Encode voter access card
- Issue and verify provisional ballots
- Give instructions to voters
- Spoil Ballots (if necessary)
- Assist provisional voters
- Issue paper ballots
