Candidates for State Offices should refer to the Lt. Governor's Office for requirements and deadlines.

Campaign Financial Disclosure deadlines for Salt Lake County Offices are as follows:

Interim Deadline:
(County Only)

April 5

Primary Election Deadline:
(County and Local School Only)

Seven days before a primary election

Interim Deadline:
(Local School Only)

August 31

Interim Deadline:
(County Only)

September 15

General Election Deadline:
(County and Local School Only)

Seven days before a general election

Year-End Report:
(Local School Only)

January 10 of each year

Year-End Report:
(County Only)

January 31 of each year

Year-End Report:

Required by all candidates and officeholders with an open campaign committee

Final Report:

Required by all candidates and officeholders as soon as they close campaign account and dissolve campaign committee

Small Budget Campaign Certificate:

(For County Candidates Only) - A campaign committee that does not expect to exceed $2,000.00 in aggregate contributions or $2,000.00 in aggregate expenditures during the course of the campaign needs to file a Small Budget Campaign Certificate. For a Small Budget Campaign Certificate form click on the link below.

Small Budget Disclosure Deadlines are as follows:

Certificate Deadline:

April 5-Certificate of small budget must be filed.

NOTE: In accordance with Utah State Law, the names of candidates who do not file disclosure statements on time will either be removed from the ballot or their votes will not be counted.
